Life's beautiful..

Life's so beautiful..yeah..life's treating me well lately..Alhamdulillah.. with my thesis correction is moving closer towards the end..with hubby's around since he's being transferred to Putrajaya starting early december, a wonderful son to play with and great friends surrounding me, gives beautiful colors to my life.. I'm content!!

My Blog New Look

Today, I feel like playing around with the blog settings and gadgets..so I did some major changes to my blog..saje je tak bagi nampak bersawang sangat coz xrajin sangat nak update, the reasons:

1. Most of the time, the reason is because I am busy..

2. And...most of the time when I feel like updating my blog, the internet connection in my room is down..

3. I am not a good story teller..There are many times when I began to write, I went blank..just don't know to how deliver the story.. I lost of words, perhaps because I've done very less of reading.. Reading story books used to be my obsession. My favourite authors are Nora Roberts, Danielle Steelle and Kathleen Witterwood..Other than that, I love to read story books from MBseries, no matter who the author is.

A few years back, I used to go back and forth to the Central Market during weekends just to buy storybooks. There is a bookshop selling second hand books where you can buy a nora robert or danielle steelle's book at a price as low as RM4..I was crazy about it then..I could spend hours and hours reading storybooks..

But that was 5 year back.. Now, I don't spend much time on reading anymore..Most of my time spent on my job, my family, my study,worrying how to finish my thesis.. I believe, the time has come to continue reading..Reading gives me a world of words and vocabularies, the wisdom to think (and dream) beyond any boundaries. For the beginning...I nak serbu bilik puan shila, see if I can find any interesting title..hehe..boleh kan?

So, back to the original story..about the changes I did for this blog........One, I changed the background to the original background when I started this blog, because I like this one better..

Secondly, I changed the pictures in the slide show, add new pictures and new style for the slide.
And third, I add a music playlist..so takde la sunyi je bila bukak blog ni...

Cepatnye masa berlalu...

Tup tap..tup tap..dah hampir sebulan rupanya entry pasal Cameron tu..dah basi pun cite tu.. so I decided not to narrate on the second part of the entry... I've been too busy lately..finishing the final marks for the students, at the same time struggling to finish up the corrections for my thesis.. It had been a month since my V day and it feels just like yesterday I passed that scarry day..Well, I believe everyone who has faced the V day agrees with me.. However, the V day has went well, Alhamdulillah.. Indeed, better than I've expected it to be..!!

I almost reach the ending point of my master study..just have to be patience a little bit more, finish up the corrections and I'll be free...yeahh!!! Go..babe..go.. Two more weeks to go before the dateline..

But..it seems like writing the thesis is a lot more easier than writing the corrections..sebabnye, bila dah lepas je V day tu..dah rasa nak relaks je..Need a very strong will to finish it..fuuhhh...sabar je.. Anyway..I'll do my best to finish it, I just want free myself from this overwhelming pressure.. Yupp..the study..the thesis..the thought of it gives a lot of pressure to me... Now..the pressure, the burden..is about the become history..Yeahh...!!!

A visit to Cameron

Mood hari ni sangatlah tak baik..ada sedikit sedih dihati..hard to describe..but I need to let it go..

Therefore I decided not to think of the 'to-do-lists' today..instead, I just want to think of something that can make me smile..think of happy moment...thus, it reminds me to our visit to cameron last two weeks.. The initial intention is to visit my husband's place at cameron, but since we were there, we made a visit to a few places we never went before...

The first place is The Butterfly Garden. It is a very beautiful place with beautiful gardens and flowers of many types surrounding the place. My husband did not join us in the visit to the butterfly garden since he had to attend a workshop in his office.

Ashmal was too tired to walk so I had to carry him on my back..He kind of enjoying himself being carried that way.. Apa taknye..tak payah jalan, mesti la enjoy..sempat posing lagi..hehe..

Kereta Baru

We got a new car..Naza Suria, our second car. Just a small car, but convenient enough for me & Ashmal. Kereta ni ok la..minyak pun jimat..

The above pictures were taken last Sunday, when we went to fetch the car at the sales centre. Nombor plat pun tak pasang lagi masa tu..

Bangkok

Hari Khamis lepas saya & Pn. A pergi ke Bangkok..sekejap je, 3 hari je..atas urusan kerja.. Tak banyak yang menarik di Bangkok, persekitaran nye pun lebih kurang kat Malaysia. Shopping..? Not enough time to do much shopping there..plus, susahnye nak shopping kalau takde tour guide kat sana. Sutera Thai pun tak jumpa.. Anyway, the new airport is beautiful..see for yourself..

Kat sana kami stay kat Maruay Garden Hotel..the room is ok..quite condusive..just have to bear with the tv channels..All channels are in Thai language, even the Discovery channel speaks Thai..

Rumah Baru Kak Long

My eldest sister is moving to her new house at Bukit Antarabangsa in two weeks time. It's a big & beautiful house.. Here are some glimpses of the house..

Kipas siling 2+1..kipas+lampu..bila kipas dipasang ia akan kembang macam bunga..






Semua siling di plaster..dari ruang tamu sampai ke dapur, dari tingkat bawah sampai ke tingkat atas..simple design tapi cantik..

Kepala paip dan sink kat rumah ni semua unik-unik..ni antaranya la..

Ashmal & Thomas

Ashmal ni peminat setia siri Thomas & Friends kat TV tu..tren komuter tu pun dia panggil Thomas. Setiap hari dia mintak nak naik Thomas, so last weekend kami bawakla dia naik komuter. Excited betul dia nak naik Thomas..

..tak sabar nak tunggu tren..lama jugak kena tunggu, sampai Ashmal dah naik boring..

Masa mula-mula naik tren..muka kehairanan..


Papa dia pun sibuk memberi penerangan kat Ashmal..hehe..nampak macam sama-sama excited je naik tren..Masa mula-mula naik tren, Ashmal tak banyak celoteh..tapi..5 minit selepas tu, dia dah start bercerita..

Sampai penat papa dia mendengar cerita dia yang panjang berjela-jela..

Selamat Hari Raya buat semua..

Raya dah pun seminggu berlalu..rasanye masih belum terlambat nak ucapkan Selamat hari Raya Aidilfitri buat semua..Ampunkan segala salah & silap, maaf zahir & batin..

Raya kali ni kami plan nak pakai baju raya sedondon & nak tangkap gambar banyak-banyak..tapi..semuanye lari dari plan..Baju raya tak sama hijaunye.. Pastu dalam sibuk-sibuk beraya ke rumah sanak sedara, lupa pulak nak ambik gambar banyak-banyak.. Sempat ambik sekeping dua je..

Orang sibuk nak beraya, Ashmal lak sibuk nak kibarkan bendera..patriotik sunggoh!! Apa-apapun Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri dari kami sekeluarga..

Dah lama tak update..tak sempat, tambah dengan mood nak raya hari tu, dah tak tahu nak cerita apa.. Hari ni tengah boring-boring, tengok-tengok gambar kat dalam laptop...

Alkisahnya..Sehari sebelum cuti raya hari tu, saya bawa Ashmal kat ofis.. Kebetulan hari tu Josh bawak kamera DSLR dia yang canggih tu nak tangkap gambar staf-staf kat ofis. Apa lagi...Ashmal siap panggil Uncle Josh mintak ambikkan gambar dia.. Saje nak share gambar-gambar ni buat tatapan kawan-kawan, especially to my dear hubby di bukit Cameron sana..

Things getting better

Alhamdulillah, things are getting better..I'm coping well with the new changes and routines in my life.. Plus, with the tons of jobs to be settled in the office, I'll be fully occupied..and a week will pass like a blink of eyes (ye ke..? ..hopefully..).

Life goes on..

It is nearly a month since I last updated this blog..so many things happened since then.. Two weeks after I came back from UK I've been busy with my sister-in-law's wedding..We went back to Kelantan for about a week for the wedding.

Right after that, I was diagnosed with dengue fever..which had drained out most of my energy fighting it..Alhamdulillah, I've made a full recovery a week later. Nevertheless, that was one experience I'd never forget to the rest of my life. It was an ugly and awful experience I pray that no one will ever have..but the fact is, it seems like no one can escape from the disease nowadays, no matter how hard you try!!

And..this one is the major change in my life and I am still adjusting to it..no matter how much I hate it!!! My hubby has been offered a government job and has been posted at Cameron Highland..which means that we have to be apart from each other for some times.. I am completely depressed with the fact, but life has to go on..

I am back!!

It's been a week and four days since we've arrived..haven't had a chance to update this blog since then.. It feels really good to be home..!!!

I'm now back to the busy pace of my life..sorting out tons of jobs in the office, my son, my house, went to a workshop, teaching, etc..a hectic yet wonderful life..of course, now that I have both of my sweetehearts close to me..

Nothing much has changed here in a month, except for some new faces in the office.. At the moment, I have so many things in my mind to share with..just not in the right mood to narrate.. and don't know what to start with..

Makan-makan

Semalam kami buat makan-makan nak habiskan stok makanan..Menunya; nasi putih, sup ayam, sambal, kari ayam, udang & ikan masak merah..+ dessert yang Jehan bawak lagi..fuhh..sangatla meriah..

Jemput Jehan & Kak Ina sekali..seronokk..Thanks to Jehan & Kak Ina sebab sudi menerima jemputan kami, walaupun terpaksa bawak pinggan sendiri..bak kata Jehan, lawakk ok...jemput orang makan tapi takde pinggan..Haha..kami hanya merantau di sini..hehe..sorry!

However, we had a great time last night..makan sampai kekenyangan tahap maksimum..tapi sebab excited sangat nak makan-makan sambil gosip yang takde full stop, lupa pulak nak ambik gambar..hmm..rugi sangat rasanya...(nak kena mintak gambar tu dengan Jehan la..boleh?)..

p/s: I shall not be updating my blog for sometime..I am going to london and then return home..

Happy Mood

Hepinye rasa hari ini...berbunga-bunga rasa hati..rasa nak senyum je sepanjang hari..The pictures sure have lighten up my day. That is the first thing that make me happy..

The second thing is the fact that this training is coming to an end and I'm going back home in a week time!!! Waahh..seronoknye..

Throughout this one-month training, I have learned a lot..explicit knowledge..tacit knowledge.. There are many times I came to a point where the training became more and more complicated, the pressure were overwhelming and the burdens inside my head were unbearable..but now..that sort of things had gone, for good..now I am happy..very happy indeed..

just can't wait to be home..

I opened my email this morning and got one interesting email fom my husband, which contains pictures of my dearest son..I am tremesdously happy..Amazing isn'it? Receiving pictures of someone you love can give such an effect in your life..

This picture was taken when he just woke up from his sleep..bangun-bangun je nak tengok Thomas & Friends, his favourite character. So dalam mamai-mamai tu nak tengok tv memang la tak larat..

Kat sebelah kanan ni pulak gambar Ashmal dengan sepupu dia, Marsya. Ni time ok la ni..sebab Ashmal suka usik Marsya..sebab rambut Marsya ni memang la comel, pegi mana-mana mesti orang tegur..comel!

Ashmal has just turned to two years old last month, and Marsya is going to be 4 years old this November. I still remember when I just gave birth to Ashmal, she was just about 1 year and a half, still a baby herself..everytime Ashmal cried, she would come running..with a diaper and a bottle in her hands, thinking that might sooth Ashmal's cries.. macam kelakar,kan? Dia pun kecik lagi, tapi dah pandai nak jaga orang lain.. Sekarang ni dua-dua tu nampak macam kembar lak..with their heights almost equal to each other..

Dear hubby, thanks a lot for the email..it means a great deal to me!!!

Bicester Village

Last Saturday we went to Oxford..travelling by bus. A tip if you're travelling in UK, make an early plan, get an early ticket..you'll be surprised on how much you can save.. We bought online tickets for our trip to Oxford (with Ms.J's help..tq!), it costs only GBP6 for each return ticket. Or else a one-way ticket costs about GBP10..see..how much we can save...

Ok..back to the original story....It took approximately 3 hours to get there and on the way there we 'dropped by' one of the famous shopping spot in UK..the Bicester Village. This place is more or less the same with the factory outlet in Ashford where you can find almost all the branded items, just name it..

However, we managed to control ourselves this time..we didn't do so much shopping here..indeed, I didn't buy anthing from here..opss..except for two pairs of clark sandals, each for my son & my niece..hehe..

Not only Polo Ralph Lauren, but Polo Ralph Lauren Children can also be found here..Pn.Sue's gonna love this, if she was here then.. the price is very cheap for a Ralph Lauren's shirt..around GBP4.99 - GBP10..On the right picture, there's Hugo Boss boutique..

The middle picture shows Tommy boutique, the left picture shows Dior & Timberland boutique. I'm so sorry for the moderate quality of the image..I do not own a DSLR camera..kesian saya,kan Josh..?

After a few hours spent at this place, we continued our journey to Oxford..unfortunately I can't show any picture of Oxford here since I don't have the photo. I unpurposely left my camera in Suw's room that day..sedihnye..

Cerita 1:

Pagi pertama berada di Cambridge, saya dikejutkan oleh suara-suara orang sedang sibuk mengangkut sampah kat bawah bilik..dalam keadaan mamai tu saya terpikir.."Alangkah bagusnya orang kat sini, kerja angkut sampah pun pandai cakap orang putih,,"...hehe...masa tu tak ingat memang saya ada kat negeri orang putih..hehe..

Cerita 2:
One day, when I was walking down a street..a man bumped into me..he looked at me and apologized. Spontanously I said, "takpe..takpe.."..I didn't realize that I've spoken the malay word out loud until I saw the man's face..opps..tersasul lerr.. sorry!

Cerita 3:

This is not my story..it's Pn.A's story instead. This happened when we were looking for J.A. in the Genetics Department. Since we failed to find him, we asked a student about his wherebout..and she said, "Oh, you're looking for J.A., is it?". Spontanously Pn.A answered, "a'ah.."..hehe..tersasull lagi..

Satu kisah di Fitzwilliam Museum

Semalam saya & Pn. A pergi ke Mill Road untuk mencari bahan2 makanan yg halal..kat situ banyak kedai2 yang membekalkan makanan yg halal untuk orang2 muslim kat Cambridge ni. Siap ada jual kicap cap kipas udang lagi tau..perencah-perencah adabi pn ada..

Dalam perjalanan balik, kami ternampak la bangunan yang cantikk ni...the Fitzwilliam Museum. Memang dh jd kerja kami sejak datang ke sini, nampak je bangunan atau pemandangan cantik mesti nak ambik gambar. Kat bawah ni gambar2 Fitzwilliam Museum yang sempat saya rakamkan..

Sedang kami sibuk berposing2 tu..tiba-tiba ada dua jejaka ni menyapa.."Hai..datang melancong ke?"..alamak..orang Malaysia la..malunye...sebab masa tu memang tengah posing sakan..tapi dah orang tegur, kami pun menjawab le, "a'ah..". Then abang tu cakap, "oo..dah agak dah..dari jauh kami nampak dok posing2...". aloooha, malunye... borak2 lagi rupanya abang2 ni kawan kak lin..lagi la bertambah2 malunye...kantoi..!!
