King's College

We went to the famous King's College yesterday..I've placed a picture or two (don't really remember) of this college in my previous entry. Its buildings aged more than 400 years..and its architectures are magnificent! I can't stop myself wondering what kind of technology used in that age to build such a beautiful structure..very detail and perfect, I'm impress!

Some glimpses of the king's chapel. Some facts about the chapel, which quoted from the brochure I got at the college's entrance.."The chapel is 88 metres long, 12 metres in span between piers and the vault is 24 metres high. The fan vaulting, the undoubted glory of the building, was completed in three years between 1512 and 1515. After this the glaziers could get on with the task of installing the 26 sets of stained glass windows, which took around another 30 years."

The other side of the college, there's a stream where people use to punt.
Indah sungguh pemandangan ni...tp cuaca hari ni kurang baik, sejuknya tak macam summer..sampai terpaksa pakai glove sebab sejuk sampai ke tulang...eeeeeeee....

Selepas penat menikmati pemandangan yang cantik kat King's College, kami singgah kat satu kedai makan yang halal, located right in front of the college. Walaupun kepenatan dan kelaparan, tapi masih lagi nk posing depan kamera..hehe..

Pose masa tengah tunggu makanan yang di order. .and below are what we had for lunch that day. The tastes were not as good as they looked..tapi boleh le untuk mengalas perut..

Our special lunch hour

This is Jehan, my ex-student who is now pursuing her M.Phil at University of Cambridge. Today she brought us to have lunch at this spectacular place, Pembroke College which is located only 5 minutes walk from our departments. However, it took us about half an hour to reach it.. nak tahu kenapa..? We're kind of stuck at so many photography sessions around the park on the way to Pembroke College.

Tengok saja la aksi-aksi model amatur kat bawah ni..

Ni baru on the way je..and now, here is the spectacular college..

Cantikknye tempat ni..never seen it anywhere else, not even in my dreams..

A special entry for Pn.Sue

Upon Pn. Sue's personal request, I dedicate this entry just for her..nothing much to tell, perhaps the pictures below would do the talking.

Ni gambar masa on the way balik dari lab tadi..pantang dia nampak bangunan yg cantik sikit, mesti nak bergambar,hehe..Guess where is this place? You won't believe it..!

Pn. Sue's exausted face after spending the whole day shopping in Asford..barang dia bertimbun2, macam nak balik bukak gerai kat pasar malam..

Tengah meng'adjust' kedudukan untuk posing di celah2 bunga, mcm dlm cite hindustan tu..

Sedang memeriksa kameranye yg canggih..kamera DSLR lagi tau!

Bergambar dengan Tiger Wood..siap pegang2 tangan lagi..jgn jeles ye Mr.S..

..and this is what she does most of the time..Pn. Sue and her handphone, bagai isi dgn kuku.. nk ambik gmbr pn sempat lagi gayut..

I'm upset..

I am a little bit upset today..to see such a sight to start my day. This morning, when I looked out the window..I saw this sight which has touched my heart deeply inside, making me feel helpless..and this is the sight I saw this morning..

Some homeless people were sleeping just under my hostel room..what a pitty!! I can't image how cold they were as I was freezing in my comfortable bed last night..It's getting cold lately as it has been raining on and off for the pass few days..

Dear Allah, we're helpless..we're begging for Your protection, for none of this happen to us nor to anyone we love..Amin.

Cuba teka apa diaorang buat?

Baru teringat nak cerita..this happens when we were about a few metres away from the huge complex of factory outlets in ashford..check out what were these ladies doing..hmm..

Pn. A's acting like she's planting the flower and Pn. Sue's acting like she's a professional photographer on the move..haha..

Can't wait to be home..

Despite all the great activities we've done and all the good times we had here in the pass two weeks, all of us are still counting the day to return home.. All of us missing home like we've been here for ages..we really want to go home..!!!
The study culture here is great, but we can't really fit into the culture. Why..? Hard to tell..but perhaps I'll narrate about it later..

The second plan

The second plan is to visit the london eye and Madamme Tussauds..masing2 bersemangat, bangun pagi2 nk pegi visit. It's barely 9 am when we arrived at London Eye..it's a good thing though, coz we don't have to join a long queue!

Here I am..giving my best post, hehe..behind me is the trademark of london, the big ben and the house of parliment. Cantikk kan...(I mean the background, ok..)..kan...and I think I should upload this image too..Gambar Pn. A and Pn.Sue posing berlatarbelakangkan kota london, chewaaahh...

Walaupn gayat, berjaya jgk saya naik london eye..hehe..bangga..bangga..

Then we headed to the famous Madame Tussauds..Had agreat time there, even though in the beginning, we couldn't really enjoy ourselves because there's too many people in the there. We can hardly spot the wax figures in the sea of people..anyway, it's worth it..we got to take pictures with world's famous figures..(Josh jgn jeles..heheh..), siap bergambar dgn Shah Rukh Khan dan Aiswarya lagi..

Bergambar dgn Queen Elizabeth...looks so real, isn't it?
